#iwill NHS activities
Visual identity, print design and illustration for #iwill campaign encouraging young people to volunteer in the NHS.
With the aim to make participation in social action the norm for people under 20, the #iwill campaign works with organisations all across the UK to embed support for youth social action in their culture and practice. This activity pack and supporting materials, developed by Eden Project Communities, explores the National Health Service—its role, history, future, and career opportunities—and encourages young people to get involved in volunteering with the NHS.
Created to be used in secondary schools, the visual identity prefers not to show the gory or mundane side of healthcare, but instead plays with the hands-on nature of working on the front lines, employing hand-rendered typography and illustration in a quick, punchy, personable style.
This activity pack includes a ‘top-trumps’ style card game, origami fortune-tellers, ‘who am I’ icebreaker game and activity sheets, all packaged into a small box which can be sent out to schools. Bright, colourful and humorous, these elements are designed to be both fun and engaging for secondary school students, whilst being informative and hopefully piquing interest in volunteering opportunities.
